Highfields Pioneer Village Easter Festival

Highfields Pioneer Village is celebrating its 15th Annual Easter Vintage Festival Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from the 7th to the 9th of April 2012. The theme of the festival is 'Experience the Atmosphere of Yesteryear'. Come and experience rural life in the Australian Pioneer days! Milk a cow, learn how to crack a whip or be a blacksmith
The Highfields Pioneer Village covers an area of 20 acres of picturesque grounds with over 50 buildings, pleasant surroundings and picnic facilities.
See what life was like for the pioneers of the Darling Downs, as you wander through faithfully restored buildings. View a large range of vintage and farm machinery. Children will love visiting the animal nursery.
Highfields Pioneer Village is the Winner of the 2012 Australia Day Award Toowoomba Regional Council- Highfields Area, for Community Event of the Year.
